Outreach

Each month the Cathedral congregation gives a helping hand to a good cause, in Brisbane, or in Australia or Overseas. This program aims to widen the scope of our concerns, of our prayers and of our giving, by becoming involved with projects to relieve human Need. This Month we wish to support Orange Sky Australia.

At St John's we value the importance of community and welcoming the stranger. It costs about $300 for an entire shift of genuine conversation, clean clothes and warm showers. Can we support Orange Sky to provide at least four shifts of life-changing connections for our friends on the streets? That's only $1200. Think about the impact that this small contribution might have for our friends on the street. Donations to Orange Sky Australia are tax deductible.

Receipts will be provided by Orange Sky, probably late September, or early October.
