Queensland Glass Artist Warwick Blair is chiefly remembered today for his extraordinary Millennium Window in St John's. Yet in a career lasting less than 20 years he created literally thousands of stained glass windows in homes, shopping centres, schools, chapels ,churches and hospitals.

Renowned for his use of striking tone colours, Warwick Blair worked in both traditional and contemporary styles, often in collaboration with leading Queensland designers, including Fr David Binns, a former Precentor of the Cathedral. His windows reflected both secular and spiritual themes, many of the latter commissioned by Anglican, Roman Catholic or Uniting Church institutions. The Millennium Window in the Cathedral and the sweeping Metamorphosis Window at Brisbane Girls Grammar School count among his most powerful spiritual creations.

Denzil's book canvasses the career of this outstanding craftsperson, featuring over 60 of his stained glass creations and the stories behind them.
